Blue Star, Inc. began in 1978 formally known as Blue Star Trucking. Our company has over 40 years of demolition experience and a notable reputation within the construction industry. Blue Star has the capability to perform various projects such as minor home renovations, complete office white boxes, industrial renovations or complete structure removal. Our company has vast experience with school renovations varying from K-12 to major college campus renovations. We have also completed dozens of hospital renovations, interior store renovations in major malls throughout Southeastern Michigan as well as numerous commercial and residential demolitions for various city departments. Our projects range from $800 interior residential remodels to $3,500,000 complete structure demolitions.
We here at Blue Star make sure to communicate effectively with our customers to ensure every project is completed efficiently and promptly. Our companies attention to detail and commitment start at first contact with our customers. Our trained estimating staff, which has over 100+ years combined experience, reviews the customer’s request and needs and then compute the most economical and efficient procedure necessary to propel the project in the direction best suited. Our Project Management team who has over 85 years of combined hands on experience in the construction and demolition industry, coordinate with customers and our tradesmen for detailed site logistics and concerns. With a large continuously growing staff our size allows us to be flexible and responsive while keeping a hands on approach. MEET THE EXECUTIVES
Scott Krall, President
Scott joined the Blue Star team in 2006 as the estimator for complete building demolitions. He has since taken on the role of President of the company while still bidding and securing contracts for projects. Outside of work Scott enjoys spending time with his fiancé Lisa, three boys and three dogs. He also loves to camp when Michigan weather is permitting!
Eric Hoy, Vice President
Beginning as a laborer with Blue Star in 1987, Eric has done it all! He made his way up the ladder from Foreman, to Operator, to Project Manager and has now taken over the role of Vice President. On a daily basis Eric oversees the dozens of projects Blue Star has going and ensures they’re all running properly and on schedule. When he’s not hard at work you can find Eric on the golf course or vacationing with his wife and two daughters.
